Expert Reply:
The RoadActive Suspension kits, # RAS3621 for 2,000 pound capacity or # RAS3621-HD for 3,000 pound capacity, only fit the rear leaf springs on a 2001 Ford Excursion 4x4. There is no front option. So provided that your Excursion has rear leaf springs you can use either kit regardless of the type of suspension that is on the front. I have linked a video showing the features of the RAS systems.
