Question:

Plan on putting a set of these bags on my 97 Chevrolet pickup K 1500 and I was wondering about when I put my truck up on the lift about axle droop would that damage the airbags if so what can I do to correct it and what is the limit of stretch the bags will be able to handle

After installing air springs like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2025 on your 1997 Chevy K1500, you will want to take precautions when lifting the truck. The springs are designed to compress with added weight, but aren't really able to handle stretching like what you described. When lifting the truck, you will want to add some kind of support to the rear axle or simply remove the bolts on the top or bottom of the air springs so they are not attached on both ends.
