Locating Adapter to Pull Thule Chariot with Surface 604 Colt E-Bike

Updated 06/03/2020 | Published 05/22/2018

Question:

I have an ebike that I want to use to pull my Thule Chariot, but I can not use the skewer to attach the hitch. The hub has a bolt with a nut. Will the hitch adaptor for the internally geared hubs work? It is a Surface 604 Colt.

Thule offers a few different adapters for their Thule Chariot Bike Trailer model TH10202003 to allow it to be used with bikes that feature different/specific rear axle types and gearing.

These adapters are each designed to work with a specific hub on the bike. I was unable to locate what type of hub is on your Surface 604 Colt e-bike, so if you are unsure, I simply recommend contacting the bike manufacturer or retailer and they will be able to provide you with this information.

If the hub is the internally geared Shimano hub, you can use the part # TH20100797 that you referenced. If you have the internally geared SRAM hub, you will use # TH20100798. If the hub is the internally geared SRAM Spectro unit, then you will just need # TH20110722.

Hello, I'm trying to attach an older single Chariot trailer to my new Marlin 4 - Model 29759. I ordered part #50103033, do I also need this piece? The Marlin 4 lists for a rear hub: Formula DC-31, alloy, 6-bolt, 6/7/8 speed freewheel, 135x5mm QR Thank you,

Based on my research your Chariot should be able to attach to the stock rear hub on your Marlin 29759 without the need for an additional adapter.
