Can 2 Sets of the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero be Used on a 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon

Question:

Would it be possible to fit two separate orders of these facing away from each other on my outback. Ie I want to haul 2 kayaks in the angle position like the the Hull-a-Port 834 using two sets and would want to be able to fold the carrier down when not in use unlike the 834 carrier. Thanks

When in the angled position the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero # TH849000 is going to measure about 20" long. If you have a roof rack like the Thule WingBar Evo rack which uses 47" Crossbars # TH711220 and the Evo Rail Feet # TH710401 on your 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon then you should be good to go.

If the usable space on your roof rack measures closer to 40" then it may be a bit of a squeeze to get them to fit. I recommend using the roof rack mentioned above if you need the longer crossbars.

You can lock these carriers with the Thule lock cores. For 2 sets of the Hull-A-Port Aero you would need part # TH450400 for all of them to be keyed alike. Be sure not to exceed the weight capacity of both your roof rack and roof of your Subaru.
