We can help you select new 12 x 2-inch electric brakes for your 2014 Lakota tandem-axle gooseneck horse trailer. For the best value in a set of left/right brakes for axles rated from 5200- to 7000-lbs I recommend using the Axle Tek kit # AKEBRK-7-SA.
This set includes both left- and right-hand self-adjusting brakes that use a 5-bolt mounting pattern. These work with trailer wheel sizes from 14-1/2-inches to 16-1/2-inches. For manual adjust brakes instead use part # AKEBRK-6. You will need one kit per axle.
Either magnet wire can be used for ground since the brake magnets are non-polarized.
