Question:
I have a vintage camper with an A Frame trailer. The current latch wont work correctly. The ball size is 1 7/8inch and the channel is a 2. Which kit do you reccomend for this and how quickly can I get it?

I would need to know the model and/or manufacturer of the coupler. The issue is that the repair kits are not universal so I cannot guarantee that what we have will fit. The one thing that will work is to replace the coupler.
Since you mentioned that the trailer is an A-frame but the channel is 2 inches wide I assume that the coupler is mounted to a single pole at the front of the A-frame. For a straight tongue coupler that fits a 2 inch tongue and couples to a 1-7/8 inch ball we have # CT-2001-Z, # E112000340, and # DL23870. I have linked videos on all of these couplers for you.
