If your 2005 Nissan Titan came with a tow package and a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector then it may be easier to use a simple adapter, like # PK12716, to go to a 4-Way.
If your truck did not come with a 7-Way at the back, then you would probably need to add some relays, # C57000, to make the wiring fully functional. The relays are required for trucks that did not come with a factory tow package.
