Do Trailer Jack Wheel Casters Allow Trailer to Move a Couple Inches to Allow Easier Hitching Up
Updated 05/03/2018 | Published 05/02/2018 >
Question:
Will this work for 30foot RV dry wight of 5000 lbs and tongue weight of 550 lbs. Wanted something to able to push tongue over to ball hitch if off an inch or two when backing up to it. I dont even know if its possible to push the trailer tongue or not. I know you could if it was a Small boat trailer or something but this is a big RV. I have a 2018 Passport 2520RL. Thanks for you advice.

Wheel casters like the part # PS1400750340 that you referenced are designed for exactly what you mentioned. They allow you to move the coupler of a trailer a couple inches over to fit on a coupler ball. These aren't universal fit wheels though and they'll require you know what jack you have to pick out the correct wheel. For example, this wheel fits the jack # PS1400600303.
