Question:

In May 2014 I purchased a receiver and CURT t-connector for my 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. I believe either you or CURT replaced the T-connector in 2016 because it failed. Today the fuse for the left rear taillight was blown and also a replacement fuse. I removed the CURT T-Con and that corrected the problem fuse didnt blow. Is this a known problem with the CURT product no. 56150? Should I try another one or just try a different manufacturer? Should I contact CURT directly? Thanks in advance.

I cannot speak specifically to the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56331 however, in our experience we have indeed had customers who experienced excessive problems with their Curt wiring harnesses whether that be a short in the wiring or failed converter box. What we have found is that the best manufacturer for wiring harnesses in regard to quality and longevity is Tekonsha.
