Question:
I purchased a pop and Lock PL8250L cannot locate the light blue/with green stripe. Found post on your site to use the violet/with gray. Using Grey/with browntan and violet/with gray, will only work to lock, roll wires at actuator will only unlock. Help!

I spoke to my contact at Pop&Lock about installing the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock part # PAL8250 on your 2016 Ford F-350. They were able to confirm that the wires you will need to use are on the passenger side of the vehicle. The grey/brown wire on the vehicle is for the lock function and will need to attached to the green wire on the actuator. The purple/grey wire on the vehicle is for the unlock function and will need to attached to the blue wire on the actuator. I recommend confirming that you have the proper connections made. Also, the doors will most likely need to be shut in order for the unlock actuator to engage.
If you are still having problems with your tailgate lock after reading the above information then just let me know and I would be glad to do some further troubleshooting for you.
