Hardwiring RedArc Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller to Factory Harness on a 2012 Toyota Tundra

Question:
I just purchased the RedArc Tow-Pro Elite and I have a question about the wiring harness. I’ve tried to locate the connectivity between the RedArc wires to the factory harness, however I have been unsuccessful. The factory harness has a black/red, green, green/white, brown and red wire total of 5 separate wires. Can you please clarify how to match up the wires. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes I think I can help you!
On the factory wiring harness you have for your 2012 Toyota Tundra:
Black with red goes to the brake controller black wire for 12 volt power
Green with white goes to the controller red wire for input from the brake switch
Brown goes to the controller's white wire for ground
Red goes to the controller blue wire for output to the trailer brakes
The solid green wire is not used by the Tow Pro Elite brake controller # RED44FR.
