Does Thule Hullavator Require Adapter to Use With Thule Crossbars on 2011 Audi Q5?

Hello, If i have a Thule Hullavator and i would like to buy Thule bars to go along with it, Do i need to buy some sort of Adaptor Kit? my car is 2011 Audi Q5. thanks

No type of adapter will be necessary to use the Thule Hullavator # TH898 with WingBar Load Bars, as they will fit into the channels of those bars.
For your 2011 Audi Q5 you can install the Thule WingBar Crossbars # TH711220 (Black) or # TH711200 (Silver) and you will also need the Thule Evo Foot Pack # TH710601 and Thule Fit Kit # TH186019.
I also strongly recommend using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400, which will allow you to lock the rack to your Audi's roof and protect your investment. There is a quantity of 6 available as well, part # TH450600, if you wanted to add the cylinders to your Hullavator and have everything keyed alike.

Hi I have a 2017 toyota highlander LE with normal roof. I want to install Thule hullavator system and also need to install a crossbar. As it turn out there need to have an overlength of 4 inches to 8 inches out on the cross bar from the foot pack. My question is as follows: 1) does wingbar evo need to have protrusion of 4"-8" on the side of the car? or this only applies for the square bar only? 2) What is the length of the square bar or wingbar needed for my highlander? 3) Is the foot pack universal to all car roof? Thanks
