What is the Width of the Thule Replacement Tie-Down Strap # 10169
Published 08/09/2011 >
Question:
I am looking for replacement straps for my hardtop rooftop carrier. I dont know the brand. This product looked good but I need to know how wide they are and if they can be used as tie downs for the carrier. My current straps are just under an inch and about 32 inches long. The length can always be adjusted it is the width I am concerned with.

I pulled a Replacement Tie-Down Strap for Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Boxes # 10169 from our warehouse and found that it is 3/4 of an inch in width.
This product is designed to loop through slots on Thule cargo boxes with EasySnap housings to keep the load from shifting during transportation. Without knowing what box you have it would be hard to say for certain if this would work for you, but I would imagine that there would be a way for you to make this product work for your application.
Check out the picture I put together that shows this measurement that I attached for you.
