Question:

Will the flex air 18000 pin box and air bags on truck work ttogether or fight each other we pull a 5th wheel 3300#on the hitch. 20000# hitch. Will it help with the bounce inside the 5th wheel. Using one or both together

You can absolutely use the Lippert Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328492 with your truck that has air bags installed. The air bags for the two systems are completely separate and provide different benefits, so they will not work against each other at all.

The internal air bag on the Flex Air Pin Box will absorb road shock to provide a much smoother ride when towing, while the air bag system on your truck will enhance its suspension to better support the vertical load that the fifth wheel trailer will put on the truck's rear axle. The upgraded pin box will indeed help with jarring and bounce during travel.

This Flex Air Pin Box features an 18,000 pound towing capacity and is designed to replace the Lippert 1621 pin box on the trailer. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
