Goose Box or Flex Air For 20,000 lb Trailer With Lippert 1621SHD Pin Box

Question:

I have a grand design 399th, it is a 20klb trailer with 5th wheel. The truck is a dully dodge and it continues vibrating. Current 5th wheel is 1621SHD. I have a gooseneck and a fifth wheel on the truck and i wonder what you recommend. Flex air vs gen Y? Gooseneck vs fifth wheel.

Between the Flex Air and Goose Box system, I absolutely recommend going with the Goose Box. Using one means you don't have a big 5th wheel hitch in the bed of your truck so it's open for you to use it if needed, and it's super simple to connect and disconnect compared to a 5th wheel hitch and pin box.

The only other thing you need to do is choose the right one. For your Lippert 1621SHD you'll need the following:

- Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR
