I have 2012 Silverado will this fit over my mirrors with chrome cap

I do have a solution for yo to add towing mirrors to your 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, but unfortunately the Original Custom Towing Mirror Slide-On Mirrors # CTM1600 that you reference, along with all other slip-on mirrors, are not compatible with the chrome caps.
Instead I recommend going with the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62077-78G for a manual option or the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62093-94G if you need electrical, heated mirrors. Either of these options will replace your current mirrors directly and give you the option to extend them out for an easier towing experience.
