What To Do Should Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock Fail on 2018 Honda Ridgeline

Question:
I have 2018 Ridgeline RTL-E and interested on PAL8600. However, I have a question. If for some reason PAL8600 failed to operate solenoid failed and it at locked position. How do I manually open tailgate?

Though it is an unlikely scenario, you do bring up an interesting question. Should the powered Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 on your 2018 Honda Ridgeline fail to operate for some reason and there is no manual key to open the tailgate you would need to have a locksmith open the tailgate and you would need to remove the lock.
