Carrying a Canoe with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab

Question:

Is it possible to install a roof rack on top of the cab on this model of truck or does the large sunroof? Or is a truck bed mounted canoe rack the only option? Thank you!

If you have the regular cab on your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 then the two crossbars of a roof rack system will not be able to sit far away enough from each other to properly support your canoe. That is why you only saw the Yakima BedRock HD # Y01160-59 in the fit guide for roof racks.

You can go with the BedRock HD, but if you plan on using the bed of your truck for gear then I have some other solutions for you.
