According to the owner's manual for the 2008 Mercedes E-Class the vehicle uses separate bulbs for the low and high beams unless they have the optional Bi-Xenon system. For models with separate bulbs for high and low beams the bulbs are H7 bulbs. I recommend set # VX-LH7 for the low beams and a second set of # VX-LH7 for the high beams.
If your E350 has the optional Bi-Xenon lights then the low and high beams are on 1 bulb called a D1S-35W and you can use # P231000SW to replace them. On vehicles with this system the high beam locations (the smaller, inner set of lights at the front) there is a high beam flasher which uses the H7 bulbs such as # VX-LH7.
