Correct Replacement Crank Handle for Landing Gear

Updated 03/29/2018 | Published 03/28/2018

Question:

I have a 98 travel supreme 5th wheel, that is missing the landing gear manual crank handle. I see 3 different ones offered and need help determining which will be the correct one. LG-119226, LC119226, RVLG-HDL. I do not have any identifying marks, tags etc to tell me what brand of gear I have. it appears they must all drive the same way, slotted hole at the end of the crank. Are they basically the same but differ in length? rough measurements appears to have about 16inch of length needed to engage the drive from the outside of camper housing. any sizes comparing each other would be great.

I recommend taking a look at the Replacement Crank Handle # LG-119226 which is a replacement for Stromberg-Carlson landing gear but will work with most other lading gear sets. The important measurement for this handle is the 1/2" inner diameter of the shaft where it connects to the landing gear and the 3/4" diameter of the outer sleeve on the landing gear end is 3/4".

I have attached a link to a video review which shows you exactly where on the handle these measurements are taken. I recommend measuring your handle at those spots as well, and if it the mesurements match this handle will work for you.
