Recommended Truck Cap Roof Rack to Carry Kayaks with a 2008 Chevy Silverado

I have a 08 Silverado ext cab with a Truck cap and am looking for roof rack to haul kayaks on and would like to know if you have racks that would fit the truck cap ?? Fiberglass topper

One of the most popular truck cap ladder/roof racks that we currently have for your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado is the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System # Y02-490B.
This comes with two Black 59" aero style crossbars that install on legs that can slide back and forth in the included track. These bars have a weight capacity of 220 lbs (or the weight capacity of your cap if it is lower) and can accommodate a wide variety of accessories.
To carry your kayaks I recommend using the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier # S512. The J-Style carrier will fit perfectly around the aero crossbars and can be folded down for extra clearance when not in use. The extension arms # RRS512X allow you to carry 2 kayaks without having to install a completely new carrier as long as you don't exceed the 99 lb weight capacity.
