My 2012 Ram 1500 Big Horn has the trailer plug receptacles mounted near the rear license plate see attached photo. How can I plug in my flat four poled hitch cover from BEHIND my bumper? Is there an adapter for this?

Expert Reply:
You can use the Curt T-Connector 4-Pole wiring harness # C55384 plugged in at the back of your existing factory connector to provide a 4-pole plug for your lighted hitch cover. This harness connects inline between the existing connector and the factory wiring. The factory connector at the bumper remains active.
