Solution for Upgrading Suspension and Raising Height of 2017 Momentum 349M Trailer

Question:

I have a 2017 Momentum 349M by Grand Design with Lippert 7000 LB tandem axles 3inch tubes, leaf springs 1.75inch wide X 25inch long and Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers. I would like to raise the trailer a couple inches as well as increase the spring capacity. I was considering the Lippert Components Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade - Tandem Axle Item # LC1565391. Would this raise the trailer any more than the Equa-Flex equalizers that are already on the springs? Can the Center Point Air-Ride system be used to adjust the trailer height by adding more air? Are there other options that would accomplish what I am trying to do? Thanks

The Lippert Components Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade # LC1565391 referenced in your question will do a really nice job of upgrading the suspension on your 2017 Momentum Trailer. This air ride suspension will dramatically improve the ride and towing experience with its two air bags that absorb road shock and reduce chucking. The added benefit of this kit, specifically for your application, is that it will also raise the trailer 2 inches.

This system is a perfect solution for what you are wanting to do. Just keep in mind that this will only work with trailers that have double-eye springs.
