The stake pockets on my car hauler measure 5x1.75inch inside. Im certain these will work but would like your opinion.

The Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor part # WFSPDR is designed to fit in a standard 2x4 stake pocket opening which actually measures to be around 3-1/2" long x 1-1/2" wide inside to inside. If the "5x1.75inch" you provided is formatted length x width then this tie-down would not be a good fit for you and I recommend adding part # C83072 in order to accommodate it.
