Question:

I have a 2004 Aerolite cub 22 foot hybrid travel trailer would like to know is there a bike rack that will work with the spare tire or a bumber mount system that would be better.

We have several bike racks that are recommended for use behind a travel trailer, see link. For 4 bikes, I would select the Swagman Hitch Bike Rack, # S64400, and the RV Bumper 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver, # E-100, if the trailer bumper is a 4 inch square all steel channel bumper. This bike rack measures 14-1/2 inches from the center of the first hitch /pin hole to the back of the upright bar, so it will clear a spare tire as long as the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the spare tire is less than 14-1/2 inches.

Another option would be the Swagman 4 Bike RV Mounted Rack, # S80600, which also requires a 4 to 4-1/2 inch square all steel channel bumper. With this option you will not need a hitch on the RV but you will need tie downs. The part# 05605 would work, and the carrier would need to be positioned so the bikes would fit with the spare tire.
