Could Separate Battery Power Trailer Wiring Harness that Needs Power Wire Ran to Battery

Question:
Hello, I mostly plan to use this to tow a boat trailer which has a 4way flat connector for the trailer lights. I have a few extra 24v batteries in good condition and was wondering if I could wire the harness to one of them when towing the boat instead of having to route the wire all the way to the engine compartment and the main battery? Thank you for your help!

The problem is that the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118551 requires 12 volt and cannot work on 24 volts. So unless you have 12 volt batteries that you can keep topped off in the rear of your vehicle you will need to run the power wire up to the vehicle's battery.
I attached an install video for this kit plus a help article on routing the power wire of a kit like this.
