Question:
To revers fan flow is it as simple as connecting the ground wire to the blue wire and connecting the 12v power to the black wire?

To reverse the polarity and airflow direction of the Derale Atomic Cool transmission cooler # D15950 from a puller to a pusher installation you will need only reverse the two wires to the fan motor. This process is covered in the instructions for fan part # D16508 which are linked for you.
Do note that puller applications will usually be much more efficient since they allow the fan motor to work in the same direction as the passive airflow. But my contact at Derale did confirm that nothing more than polarity reversal is required.
