Does Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock # PL8600 Lock Both Tailgate Functions of a 2017 Honda Ridgeline?

Question:
It appears the item installs and locks the main tailgate handle, for preventing fold down tailgate operation. Does this also lock the second tailgate mechanism, where the tailgate swings out like a door?

The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 will prevent both the fold down operation as well as the swinging operation on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline when locked. You can see in the attached video that this works for both functions as it locks your ability to engage the handle. You can see this at the 7 minute mark of the video.
