Troubleshooting Installation of Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock that Won't Power Unlock

Question:
I connected the wire wires from poplock to the wire harness one t0 blueand pink and the other one to blue and white stripes. with the remote it locks the tailgate but does not unlock please advise if I need to change some thing or do it difgferently for 2005 Tacoma 4 door 4x4

You have found the correct wires to use for the installation of the Pop and Lock tailgate lock part # PAL8521. What is most likely happening is that the connection to one of the wires isn't making full contact and that is why the unlock feature doesn't want to work.
