Question:
whats the difference between the regular butterfly vent and the butterfly vents for polar roof ventilators besides pricing? do these vents rust?

Expert Reply:
The only differences between the vents is that part # PLR24-004 comes with a rubber gasket and part # 371800 does not. The mounting holes are also positioned a little differently. They are both 7-1/4" in diameter and made of a polished aluminum. If you are concerned with rust then I highly recommend using the Butterfly Vent part # PLR24-002 which is made of stainless steel.
