I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with tow package. Is there a wiring adapter for plug and play or is it necessary to run power from the battery?

To use the Redarc brake controller # RED44FR in your 2017 Ram 1500 you will just need wiring harness # 3024-P. On this harness you will cut off the smaller black connector and attach its wires color for color to the Redarc wires included with the controller.
