If you want to switch out the hubs what you need to do is find the bearing and seal part numbers from the original hubs. Any new hub must use the same bearings and seals as the original in order for it to fit properly on your spindles. Examples of those parts numbers are show in the linked image.
You can instead measure the spindles but those measurements need to be very precise, and to the nearest thousandth of an inch, like 1.234-inches. You will need a digital caliper like # PTW80157 to measure at the points noted in the linked diagram, point B for the grease seal and points C and D for the inner and outer bearings.
You also want to make certain that any new hubs you install have the necessary weight rating to match the axle. Our main page for hubs and hub/drums is linked for you. Just click on your bearing parts to see suitable hubs.
The axles used on mobile homes are intended only for one-time use to transport the home to its permanent location. They are not suitable for continuous use like the axles installed on 5th wheel and travel trailers.
