For a roof rack to install on the top of your camper shell on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 we have the Yakima Roof Rack # Y57CV which is designed for just what you need.
Then for a canoe carrier part # Y04069 would be a great option that allows you to carry the canoe upside down.
