Question:
The instructions that I found online, say to install the tank vertically, but did not indicate which end should be UP.

You will want to position the Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater # KH13150 vertically with the plug at the bottom.
This is indicated by the "coolant flow" arrow on the side of the heater (see attached picture). Just orient it with this arrow pointing up and you are good to go!
