Question:
Why is the p.L.flashing P2 Controller

The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 flashing is an error code. It sounds like you may have two separate codes. The P.L. solid means you have a power interruption while the pedal is being depressed. The upper circle of the P.L flashing 2 times per second means the controller "sees" an overload condition during operation. You will want to do some troubleshooting using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to determine the root issue. I've attached some articles to assist as well as the installation details to help with the code deciphering.
