Yes, Thule recommends the Thule Passage Trunk Mount 2 Bike Carrier, # TH910XT, for the 2001 Acura MDX. One tip is that the top straps must be routed under the spoiler at the top of the hatch.

You will also need a bike adapter bar for each bike that does not have a top bar that will allow the bike to be carried level. The Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, would be a good choice. We have a video showing the use of this item for you to review, see link.
