Replacement Coupler Recommendation for Wood Splitter with 2 inch Wide Channel
Published 01/30/2018 >
Question:
I have a 35 ton Huskee wood splitter with a 2inch tongue but it will no longer lock down on the receiver ball. Replaced the ball with no luck. Underside of tongue looks to be ok. Cannot find a replacement tongue that has matching bolt pattern, and the existing bolt holes are too close together to safely re-drill. Any ideas on getting a replacement tongue or a way around it? The existing tongue bolt holes are 3inch center to center.

You'd have to have a new coupler welded on most likely since the bolt pattern of your current coupler isn't standard.
The part # CT-2001-Z is designed for a 2 inch wide channel and can be welded on. It's designed for a 1-7/8 inch ball as well.
