is this adapter only for use with generators?

Even though the Power Grip Generator Plug Adapter # CAM55333 was designed for use with generators it can be used with anything that uses the same plugs/outlets. Provided that the items accept a 30 amp 125 volt male twist lock plug (L11-30) or plug into a female 30 amp outlet (TT-30) this adapter can be used.
