Trailer Hitch Receiver Options for a 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet

Question:
2011 Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet. Why wont the draw-tite hitch fit the Cross Cabriolet? I see it on many sites that says a draw-tite hitch fits. I would rather have a hidden hitch.

I do have an option for you but I spoke to my contact at Draw-Tite and they stated that they do not have a hitch confirmed to fit the CrossCabriolet edition of a 2011 Nissan Murano due to the rear bumper difference between the standard and CrossCabriolet editions. Draw-Tite bought Hidden Hitch years ago and the brand has since been discontinued. The Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch receiver will be the same.
The only trailer hitch receiver we have confirmed as a fit for your vehicle is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13577. The receiver tube opening on this hitch hangs down much lower than the Draw-Tite hitch which is needed to clear the rear bumper. This is why the Curt hitch is a confirmed fit and the Draw-Tite hitch is not.
I have attached an install video of this hitch on a similar 2011 Nissan Murano for you as well. If you can tell me what you will be using the hitch for, I would be glad to offer some additional recommendations.
