Are the roof racks the same height as the ladder racks for Ford F-150 for a continuous support?

Roof racks are almost always a shorter height than a ladder rack on a vehicle and in addition to height difference will also not provide the same support. Most roof racks have a maximum capacity of 165 lbs and some have even less where ladder racks are able to support much more.
If you want support continued over your cab, I recommend getting a system that has support integrated like the TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Over-the-Cab Extension # TH43002XT-508EX.
