Will Dexter 12-1/4" x 4" Brakes Fit in Place of Old Brakes with Stamped Backing Plate
Updated 01/23/2018 | Published 01/22/2018 >
Question:
I know some changes were made through the years, could I put this whole assembly on in place of my assembly that has the stamped backing plate? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
Provided that your existing brakes are 12-1/4" x 4" and use the same 7-bolt mounting pattern then you can use Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-438-439. I have included a link to a video review of this kit for you.
