I did some checking and the 2017 Ford F-350 pickup models use a W21W reverse light bulb. It is similar to a 3156 but not the same so I do not recommend # HM20101VA for your truck. But I do have another option that would actually be easier for others to hear.
Take a look at the Rear View Safety Backup Alarm # RVS-W02. You can mount this backup alarm under the rear of the truck and wire it into a reverse light wire. It is IP67 rated meaning the weather will not be a factor. It will send out a loud alert automatically when you put the truck in reverse. I have linked a review video of it for you.
