What is the Amperage Draw of the Hopkins Backup Alert

Question:
I want to know how its current draw compares with the stock 3156 bulbs in my 2000 Crown Victoria.

Expert Reply:
I spoke to my contact at Hopkins and he informed me that the Hopkins Backup Alert # HM20101VA will only draw about 1 amp and should not draw any more than the stock bulbs of your 2000 Ford Crown Victoria.
