Currently, we carry Derale coolers but not BandM. I have not had any complaints as to the quality or performance of a Derale cooler and I think you will be happy with one on your 1998 Dodge Ram.
The coolers that have a built in fan, like the Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit, # D15950, have the added benefit of being installed anywhere there is space. No matter where it is placed the built in fan will provide optimum airflow to cool the transmission fluid.
Since transmission coolers are not vehicle specific, you can use this cooler on your truck. The kit comes with 8AN x 1/2 inch barb fittings. If you find you need a different size, you can use the link to the transmission coolers accessories I have added for you to view.
