Question:
When wireing 22121 wire harness do I need to wire in electric brake harness if I am using prodigy RD TK94FR.

Expert Reply:
The brake controller wiring portion of the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22121 will not be used by the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # TK94FR. The 12v power will already be present in the other part of the harness, so you can either leave the brake controller portion unattached or you can run it for possible future use with a dash controller like # 90195.
It will not be a problem to connect the harness and run it to the dash while not using it if that is what you choose to do. That is what I would do because it gives you the future option of a dash mounted controller for your use or vehicle resale option.
