Question:
Hello: I have a 14 Jeep GC Diesel. I am planning to use the Tekonsha P3 controller and cable. However is there a longer cable available or do I have to hack the cable and add length to mount it in the center console? I know the current cable as referenced by youtube installs is way too short. Do not want to put it above the gas pedal which is the common area. Your help appreciated.

The Prodigy P3 # 90195 is a great choice for your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee but there is not an available extension for the wiring adapter # TK93VR that connects the P3 and the harness under your dash. You would be able to extend it by using butt connectors and heat shrink sleeves; I've added links to our page which has our selection of those products available.
