I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha and he stated that they have not tested the brake controller wiring harness on a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider. So, while it is possible that it will fit if the truck has a factory tow package that includes a 7-Way trailer connector, since it has not been tested I cannot say for sure if it will or not.

Instead, you can hardwire the controller. If the truck does not have a trailer connector, you will need to first install # 118323. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view. You would then need to install a 4 and 7 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7. I have included a link to an FAQ and video explaining the installation of the ETBC7.

If the truck has a 7-Way trailer connector, you will do a little less wiring. The white wire goes to the negative battery terminal, the black wire to the positive battery terminal via a 20 or 30 amp circuit breaker, # 9506P or # 38360. The red wire connects to the wire on the brake switch that shows a signal on a circuit tester, # 3808, ONLY when the brake pedal is pressed.

The blue wire would have to be routed from the controller, under the vehicle, and to the 7-Way using wire # 10-1-1. You would then cut the connection from the factory controller and attach the wire you just ran.
