Will the Thule TH65JV Platform Carrier fit on a 2008 Volvo S40 T5?

I contacted our representative at Thule and she informed me that the Thule OutWay Platform 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH65JV, will fit the standard model 2008 Volvo S40. She could not confirm that # TH65JV would fit the T5 model.
I did some research on the internet and found that the T5 is the AWD Turbo model. Also, that the T5 can come equipped with a rear spoiler and added fascia. If your Volvo S40 T5 is equipped with a spoiler, the Thule OutWay may not fit.
Since the T5 comes with added bumper fascia, installing a hitch to use a hitch back rack, may require trimming or removal of the bumper fascia.
For carrying a bike on your vehicle, I recommend using a roof rack. If you do not have a factory roof rack, you will need the Thule WingBar Evo rack using parts # TH480R, # TH711400 (or # TH711420 if you prefer black), # THKIT1590. Then you could go with a roof rack bike rack like the Thule Big Mouth, part # TH599XTR.
