Question:
I have a Duncan DM7007 tow bar from a previous vehicle. I now have a 2011 ford escape. Do you have a baseplate that will work with that hitch ? Also I need a wiring kit. Do you have these ? Thank you

For your 2011 Ford Escape, I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 4414-1. This base plate kit is confirmed to fit your vehicle and features a hidden bracket design, along with easily removable drawbars for a nice, clean appearance. To allow the base plates to fit your existing Duncan DM7007 tow bar (which is the Towmatic II), you will just need the Roadmaster Adapter # RM-038.
Then for a tow bar wiring kit, I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154, which will connect your RV's tail, brake and turn signal lights to your Tundra's lighting system.
In addition to your tow bar, base plates and wiring kit, you will also need a supplemental braking system and possibly a high-low adapter to complete your flat towing setup.
For a supplemental braking system, I highly recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This is a great, proportional system that will physically press down on the brake pedal in your Tundra at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your RV. You will also need to add the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400 in order to prevent the Escape's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
Lastly, you will likely need a high-low adapter in order to keep your tow bar level. I have attached an article that explains how to choose the correct one for your setup, along with a link that will take you to our available selection. I have also included installation instructions for the products mentions and an article on flat towing that you might find helpful.
