The Kat's Heaters Oil/Transmission Pan Heating Pad - 1" x 5" - 120V - 50W - Grounded Plug # KH26050 is not thermostat controlled. The thermostat controlled heaters like the Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnetic Heater w/ Thermostat - 120V - 3-5/8" x 2-1/4" # KH1155 turns off at 275 degrees and that is way too high for your application. You will either want to install a thermostat for the heater or go another route like the 25" x 7-1/4" Heater Pad with Thermostat for RVs # 277-000163 which turns off at 67 degrees and on at 45 degrees. This would need to be run through a converter to use with 110V.
